HIGHLIGHTS
The Coral Glades Varsity Baseball Team concluded a successful first week of the regular season going 2-0. On Monday the Jaguars beat Miramar HS 7-2 to open the season at home. Senior Sean Vergara got his first win of the season in relief of starter Charlie Pastor (sophomore) who had six strikeouts in three innings pitched. Offensively the Jaguars where led by Junior Austin Holzknecht who was 2-4 with 3 RBI including a bases loaded double that put the Jaguars up 5-2, a lead that Senior Adam Bosworth would protect by closing out the 7th inning.0
